We will board the coach at 7:00am and begin our day of shopping.
First stop - Trader Joe’s, which opened in the 1950’s as Pronto Market. In 1967, the owner changed the name to Trader Joe’s.
Next stop - Uwajimayas, an Asian food Market where you can find just about any Asian food product.
Last stop - historic Pike Place Market overlooking the Seattle waterfront. The Market offers fresh food of every kind from colorful produce to herbs to salmon. Ethnic dining, antiques, flowers, and curiosities are found in every corner. And, the Market is a great place for people watching.
Our day will allow for plenty of time to shop. We will return to Ocean Shores by 9:00pm. Coolers will be available for perishable items.

Annual Picnic

Join us for the Club’s annual family picnic at the Bayshore clubhouse on Saturday, August 22, at 3:00pm.
Please sign up in advance. You are requested to bring a salad or dessert that will serve 10 people. The Club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages. Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun time together with fellow Club members.

We will leave the Club at 8:30 on Tuesday, September 15, and head for the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester. Be sure to bring your gaming card from our last visit.
Upon arrival, we will receive a personal welcome and coupons. Anytime between 11:30 am & 2:30 pm, you can enjoy the grand buffet with plenty to choose from.
We will arrive back in Ocean Shores around 5:00 pm.
This event will be a lot of fun so bring a friend! Trip includes coach, buffet, and gratuity.

There are few foods as all American as a hearty bowl of chili. The popularity of chili stretches from Texas to Cincinnati and from New England to Washington State. There are as many different types of chili as there are people who make it.
Come join us on Monday, September 21 at noon in our club café for our autumn luncheon. The menu will consist of homemade chili, two different cornbreads, French hard rolls, side salad, dessert and beverages.
Our guest speaker will be Dean Bunkers, Mayor of Ocean Shores.
